Cedar Key Fishing: We’ve Got What it Takes!
We’ve got the perfect setup for fishing the flats of Florida’s Nature Coast. Our boats are 24′ Carolina Skiffs rigged with custom towers for fishing the flats in Cedar Key, Florida. Our boats are also rigged with fuel efficient four stroke outboards, trolling motors, Power-Poles (shallow water anchors), Navionics mapping cards and large coolers with ice provided, and all the safety equipment required by the Coast Guard. No worries about getting stranded in the Gulf!
Cedar Key Fishing: Tackle and Gear
We use a simple rig which is a 7′ medium action Okuma spinning rod rigged with 6-20 Power-Pro. Using the braided line enables us to make long casts combined with durability and longevity. Our main fishing tackle is provided by Bass Assassin Lures in Mayo, FL. And oh yes, we have rain gear! We have the latest equipment to ensure that most of your fishing charter time is actually spent fishing and not getting to the right place to fish. Experience combined with the right gear counts!
What You Need to Bring
We provide the fishing license and tackle/gear and boat, ice for fish. You need to bring your snacks, lunch, and beverages (WATER!), sunscreen and more sunscreen, hat and jacket, and a desire to go fishing! Oh yeah – bring your camera – you are going to need it to record those memories that we make!

Life is easy at this location, a small beach for sunning, a fish cleaning station with fresh water, a pool, and it’s an easy walk to Dock Street where you can enjoy dining and even bring your catch to Steamers for them to cook and serve with sides! Both condos have master bedrooms with a king bed and are located on the third floor with an amazing view of Cedar Key’s backwaters and the Gulf of Mexico.
